On Target Training was developed by Shawna and Vinton and incorporates reward reinforcement techniques into traditional equine training methods. The Karrasches' new book is in addition to their video, previously released by the same name, and goes into greater depth about the method and all of its uses. Beginning with the earliest stages of training, the book covers such important topics as stress-free trailer loading and clipping, teaching horses to be confident in strange or frightening situations and even includes some "fun" behaviors - such as teaching horses to smile and bow.
